During 2024 and 2025 the Hardman Institute was offering US$1,000,000 (one million dollars) for proof of survival and existence of an individual conscious self after physical death. This was to be paid in a one time cash payment to any individual or team who could demonstrate such proof under scientific community approved methodology, results analysis, verification and peer review criteria.
