RESEARCH

The Institute is focused on evidence based post-materialist consciousness research.

ACTIVE PROJECTS  INCLUDE

NDE REPORT
This is a meta-study of thousands of cases of reported NDEs with an emphasis on claims of veridical confirmation, consistency and  convergence of evidence, alternative materialist explanations, and an investigation of the the widely reported experience of non-linear time perception in relation to Einsteinian relativity and quantum observer-dependency.

MEDIUMSHIP RESEARCH STUDY
This is an extensive and unique mediumship research project involving detailed statistical analysis of many well documented mediumship sessions conducted by the Institute in controlled conditions with AI analysis of transcripts, recordings and sitter's assessments that is nearing completion and producing significant results.

AUDITORY NEUROMODULATION  RESEARCH
This is an ongoing project investigating auditory neuromodulation technology. Specifically it is using the Gateway Hemi-Synch audio recordings, as developed by The Monroe Institute, in controlled conditions to monitor changes in conscious experience. ​ 

Papers and full results of the above three projects will be published upon completion later this year.

​IN MEMORIAM

The Hardman Institute was inspired by, and founded in loving memory of, Heidemarie Hardman (1924-2024) whose steadfast belief and faith that "we will meet again" was unwavering. She experienced an out of body NDE in hospital during a miscarriage with severe blood loss in 1953 at the age of 29, and HICS is a tribute to her pure soul, her love and kindness, her faith and strength until the end, and her unshakable conviction that "there is so much more than we know".
